Medical Writer Jobs description
Science writers are responsible for writing and revising the documentation related to software or scientific research. The key responsibilities of a science writer include writing projects, project management, and other special projects.Science writers research, write, and revise complex technical documents or research papers according to the established standards and/or journal guidelines. They help to identify and implement standards and process improvements. Science writers work with editors and technical resources to improve the quality and usability of technical documents and/or research papers.
Science writers also initiate projects and documentation plans. They may even serve as a lead for complex documentation projects and ensure that the projects are completed on schedule.
The typical qualifications for a science writer job include a strong background in the related science subject, a college degree in technical/medical/science writing, English, or journalism. Needless to say, science writers mast have excellent writing skills and an ability to identify the significantly complex information needs of a target audience, develop appropriate documentation plans, and manage the execution of those plans concurrently.
