Behavioral Science Jobs description
Behavioral science job openings consist of the positions of licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed clinical psychotherapist, licensed clinical marriage and family therapist and licensed social worker. A behavioral science professional provides therapy sessions and counselling to people who face emotional, anxiety and other mental problems which are difficult to cope with. Behavioral science professionals work in counselling centers or conduct their private practice.A behavioral science professional counsels couples with a troubled married life as well as people who suffer from OCD, paranoia, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders and patients who suffer from terminal diseases such as AIDS and Cancer along with those who face emotional crisis such as divorce or death of loved one. The therapy sessions usually last for an hour. He/she applies therapy techniques, implements diagnostics tests and behaviour modification programs which help patients reveal their inner conflicts and emotions such as anger, fears and needs. This position requires a master’s degree in counselling with experience.
