Chemistry Jobs description
The most common chemistry-based jobs are the analytical chemist jobs. These chemistry-based jobs typically require the chemists to use of a diverse range of high-tech methods to investigate the chemical nature of substances. The aim of these chemistry-based jobs is to identify and understand a chemical substance and its behavior under several different conditions. For example, in the pharmaceutical industry, analytical chemists are involved throughout the drug development process.The most common areas of work of a chemistry-based job are chemical or forensic analysis, drug formulation and development, process development, product validation, quality control, and toxicology.
In order to be eligible for a chemistry-based job, candidates need at least four years of formal college education including courses in physical/mathematical/applied science, life sciences, and medical science. As the competition for chemistry-based jobs in many of the major companies is considerably high, excellent grades in the abovementioned courses are a must.
