Pharma Jobs description
Pharma jobs involve the investigation of the interaction of drugs and chemicals with biological systems. Pharma professionals, commonly called pharmacologists, aim at understanding how drugs work so that the drugs can be used effectively and safely. These professionals also carry out research to aid drug discovery and development.Pharma professionals may develop biological tests, either in cellular or tissue systems or in whole animals, in order to identify new medicines. They may even design tests to establish whether a new compound has side effects.
A college degree in the pharmacology or a related subject is a must for a pharma job, and the competition is keen, particularly, if you want to enter research and development. Moreover, candidates applying for a pharma job should be prepared to attend academic conferences across the world and read scientific journals in an effort to keep up with the latest in the field of pharmacology.
