Director Jobs description
A professional in the aforesaid position should be well conversant with medical terminology, medical law, ethics and labor law. He/she should be able to handle business communication and office management of the hospital in an effective manner. A director has to develop policies and procedures and ensure their timely implementation and recruit as well as evaluate the hospital staff.The functions of a director include monitoring day-to-day operations of the hospital, coordinating activities of medical, nursing and the other hospital staff as well as managing the budget and financial operations. A director develops and implements personnel policies to support patient care and ensures that the patients’ records are maintained and updated on regular basis. This work involves developing long term relationships with physician partners of the hospital and representing the hospital at community meetings as well as promoting its programs.
A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in the relevant scientific field is required for this position with experience in medical marketing along with very good communication and medical writing skills.
