Successful applicant will perform subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and tests for a subsystem. Participate in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems discovered by quality assurance or product support and develops solutions to the problems. Support proposal efforts. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEssential Functions\u003c/strong\u003e:\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cli\u003eWill support a new customer under contract to maintain and upgrade Electro-Optical software models that interface with infrared testing devices.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eSoftware configuration management processes will need to be developed and established to include test-driven development, change request system, and release procedures.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eSoftware model functionality will need to be discovered, maintained, ported, and extended with limited documentation available.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eLead a team that includes two junior software developers and interacts with an experienced electro-optical engineer.\u003c/li\u003e
