Bioinformatics Jobs description
A bioinformatics professional analyses, interprets and trouble shoots the micro array and probe array data in bioinformatics projects, validates the data and process, processes large genomic datasets and prepares the relative reports. A bioinformatics professional is responsible for genomic and proteomics annotation as well as algorithm development. Along with this, he/she designs, tests and debugs scientific computer software which includes architecture integration, operating system etc. for the display and manipulation of biological data. A bioinformatics professional should function in compliance with the established standards and norms.This position requires a post graduate degree in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology /Biostatistics or Biophysics. The candidate should be well conversant with MS Office, Perl, SQL, HTML, CGI,Oracle, Perl or Python, C, C++, Java, Unix and should possess good analytical and communication skills with experience in clinical trials , Genomics, Proteomics and Stem Cell research.
