Manager Jobs
A manager monitors the day to day operations of the laboratory and ensures that the functions of the laboratory are in compliance with the established standards and regulatory requirements. He/she assigns relative duties to the staff and is responsible for timely implementation and completion of work.
A manager keeps an account of the stock of equipment in the laboratory in order to make certain that there is sufficient inventory as well as place orders in case of shortage of the same. Along with this, he/she has to make sure that the equipments are hygienically maintained and disposable syringes are utilized by the staff.
A manager participates in the budget planning and decides the functioning of the laboratory in accordance with the same. The professional in this position also performs certain administrative work such as interviewing candidates for new recruitment, keeping an account of the salary and leaves of the employees as well their progress report.
A bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field of Laboratory Science is required for this position along with experience in a supervisory role.
