Soil Conservation Jobs
Conservation officers plan, control, develop, and regularly monitor the conservation practices and ecological work within forest areas or national parks. They ensure the restoration and well-being of the flora and fauna of the areas and the general maintenance and upkeep of all related facilities.
In some areas, conservation officers also monitor and ensure the ecotourism and agricultural ventures permitted, and follow and adhere to good conservation practices.
This is definitely a job for someone who loves nature and all its grandeur. The ability to survive in the outdoors is a must and the ability to converse with a wide variety of people from the natives to government officials.
Candidates for the position of a conservative officer should have a college degree in ecology, biological sciences, animal nutrition, or veterinary science is. Prior experience in the conservation field, game lodges, or animal husbandry is a definite plus for the post of a conservation officer.
