Scientist Associate Jobs
The key responsibility of an associate is participating in clinical trials conducted by pharmaceutical companies or contract research organizations and performing functions related to the same. An associate forms the protocols and reports of the clinical trial, documents the entire process, the details of people/animals who have undergone the trial as well as their reactions to the drug. He/she has to ensure that the staff involved in the trial is well trained as well as the adequacy of the inventory along with the safety, hygiene and efficiency of the equipment. An associate should make certain that the entire process is in compliance with the clinical trial guidelines and ethics and should ensure the safety and well being of the trial subjects.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in life science or medical science. An associate should be thorough with the ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements along with being competent in functioning with the computer.
