Profile

Provide support for hospital computer systems and end users. Build and deploy PC's for end users. Assist in systems installation hospital wide. Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems. Assists network administrator as needed with various network related issues such as virus protection and security related issues. Assist other analysts in completing work orders in a timely manner.
Associate degree in computer science or related field, and/or 1 year equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows 2000 and above. Strong knowledge of infrastructure requirements and components of local area networks. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and skill in logical thinking. Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
