You will coordinate the planning and execution of activities required by the NMCI contract and Department of the Navy directives as well as coordinate and assist in the training of CNAP's subordinate unit ITPOCs. You will validate and process new service orders for CNAP and subordinate units, assist, You will be responsible for approving, downloading and submitting all chargeable admin and physical MOVE/ADD/CHANGE (MAC) to the NMCI SRM team. You will also be responsible for monitoring individual command MAC balances and coordinate reallocation of MAC's with in Air Forces on an as needed basis. Responsible for endorsing the command initiated CPF Order Justification form for additional NMCI equipment and services. This position will be assigned to Commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNAP) as a Force Navy-Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) Network Support operator. The position will be located at Marine Base Kaneohe, HI. Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintainance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
Typical Minimum Education / Experience: Associates and 2-4 Years; 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
* Must have two (2) to four (4) years of related experience with Navy Marine Core Intranet (NMCI)* An active Secret Clearance
* IT literate; clear understanding of the issues surrounding internal document management, web content management and collaboration
* Experience with Navy installations, operations, and resourcing
* Communications: Excellent written/verbal/facilitation communication skills
* Analytical Thinking and Decisive Judgment
