- Associates degree is required
- 3-5 years experience is required
- Food service experience is required
The Director has overall accountability for implementing systems, setting company policy, ensuring compliance in all food service operations, and communicating and demonstrating our company culture and values. Actively meets with residents on a regular basis. Coordinates closely with Clinical Services. Will directly supervise food service employees including interviewing, hiring, tranining and development, performance evaluations, diciplinary issues. Requirementsfor this position:
Valid LA drivers license and ServSafe certification required.
Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts or Hotel/Restaurant Mgnt STRONGLY preferred. Will consider Associate Degree completion or enrollment in Certified Dietetic Manager program.
3 years related exp and/or training at Dining Services Director level or equivalent level required or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Long Term Care or Acute Care experience desirable.
Excellent commumication skills (verbal and written) required.
Excellent organizational and team building skills a must.
Proven leadership skills required.
Strong math/algebra skills a must.
