Our client is a leading Life Science and High Technology Company committed to Enabling Science to Improve the Quality of Life.
Our client provides raw materials and services to manufacturers of IVD and reagents and kits. The incumbent will develop and execute strategic marketing programs to achieve worldwide sales goals, expand customer base and increase market share of the Diagnostics business. The successful candidate will manage the development and implementation of marketing plans, analyze current and identify new business opportunities, lead acquisition of technologies and establish business collaborations. They will recommend sales goals and provide market leadership to the worldwide teams supporting the Diagnostics business and will effectively liaise with worldwide operations to ensure success of the business. The incumbent will be an expert in the diagnostics market, understanding what factors influence and shape the market including; growth trends, industry and competitive analysis, environmental conditions, technologies and capabilities. Identify opportunities and threats in the marketplace by attending trade shows and symposiums and interfacing with customers, vendors and other sources. Implement Programs to Increase Demand and Generate Leads, conduct market research and customer segmentation analysis to increase understanding of customer needs and pain points. Identify product applications, potential customers, competition and market pricing and develop position for competitive advance. Segment, profile and target customers to develop sales opportunities. Provide market leadership to cross-functional product management, sales and operations teams involved in execution of the Diagnostics strategy. Manage project teams and identify plan to develop the Diagnostics marketing organization. Lead development of sales guidelines, pricing strategies, marketing communications plan and content for marketing materials. Qualifications include Bachelors degree in Life Science (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry) or related technical discipline. MBA is desired. Minimum 3 years experience in commercial diagnostics setting. Desirable 3-5 years experience in marketing, product management, sales or product development with close customer interactions. Diagnostics market experience, strong interpersonal skills, drive to excel personally and as a team, leadership skills, marketing and business skills, market strategy and business planning. Strong organizations, problem solving, analytical and project management skills. Development of business agreements and supply terms. Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Access. Travel up to 15-25% as needed.
